Brotherhood
The
pantheon, I mean the real one, the Norse pantheon, neither the Greek
nor the Italian one. So, our pantheon is like a big family. Don't
imagine it's great, funny or whatever. Everyone knows everyone or is
from the same family as someone else. How weird! Fortunately, they
don't try to be kind or helpful, so neither do I. At least, it allows
me to stay myself. I'm considered as a part of this holy family since
it sounds good. However I'm the black sheep of this clan. Odin's
adopted son and Thor's brother. Lesson 2 Brotherhood is bullshit.
They just want to stay examples for humans and gods, I am their act
of charity. What a great family! Especially for Thor, you know, the
kind one, the savior and protector of all things. So, let's talk
about him, shall we?
Thor,
god of thunder, my lovely brother, as you may have understood, is
loved by all. In my opinion he doesn't deserve it at all, but I’m
not the one who takes the decisions, not yet. He embodies duty,
loyalty, courage and so many other virtues. He has become more loved
and more trusted than his father. Odin tries to save face but he is
insanely jealous. I understand him, I would be so ashamed if my
stupid sons became like Thor. Furthermore, he has become so haughty,
disdainful and scornful. He has become a pretentious pain in the
neck(ass) indeed. That's why I seem so naughty with him, someone must
show him who the boss is (also known as me) and puts him where he
belongs.
Then,
his physical appearance is quite… unusual. He is a tall and
muscular ginger. Like children and humans, gods are prejudiced
against that and make fun of it, otherwise life would be boring. So
he is often the target of bad jokes. It is his own problem anyway.
On
the day of Ragnarok he will die, that's his destiny/fate. And it is
linked to mine except that it will be less fatal. I live, he dies,
everyone dies, the entire world is destroyed, here is my happy ever
after! Unfortunately the same boring life will start over after a few
centuries. Humans from this generation won't be victims of this
disaster, so don't worry, even if your children or grand children
will probably be killed.
Nowadays,
Thor is well-known because of comics or Marvel. And believe me, this
well-shaved blondie is worse than the real one! First of all his
haircut is so annoying. I understand why he pleases women, his hair
seems to be saying that he is for women’s rights. Then he falls in
love with one of these women! It lacks credibility! He is not a
faithful husband but it doesn't mean he could love a human, he is too
proud! (however if the actress who is his lover wants to give me her
phone number…). I really like the human who tries to be me, he does
it quite well but Thor's one is awful. We aren't in good terms but I
can't let this movie destroy the honor of our family, can I ?
